My birthday on Saturday, 40 is beckoning ever closer. I definitely feel my age, I was telling a friend the other day about the supplements I’m taking to help improve my memory. We laughed because I had to admit that I keep forgetting to take them!
Had a good day on Saturday. Hubby gave me a beautiful gold and sapphire cross on a chain – I don’t know how he knew I wanted one. I met Traddy, one of Hubby’s work colleagues when we popped over in the morning to help her trim down a tree in her garden with Hubby’s chainsaw. After that we went out for lunch at one of the local taverns. The food was great and we were absolutely stuffed! Picked up some movies on DVD on the way home and relaxed in front of the TV for the rest of the day, it was wonderfully relaxing.
A good day on Sunday too, even though it was Hubby’s last day of holidays. After mass in the morning Mum, Dad and Jo gave me a lovely morning tea with coffee cake 🙂
