Probably wont give up my day job but had a fun 60 mins today as a fashion show model at a fundraising luncheon. There were six of us, we each had three or four outfits changes. No catwalk thank goodness – walked around the tables at the restaurant. Was fully booked, full of ladies dressed up for Melbourne Cup Day and there were lots of oohs and aahs over the fashions.

I went to Luke’s Place on Melbourne Cup Day, and I read Halt’s Peril for a while then made a hat out of cardboard. And we then had to wear the hat we made while we were listening to the race on the radio.
Also when we arrived at the centre people had to choose two horses that were running in the race.
And the person that was going around with a sheet of paper told me that I was so quiet that she almost forgot me. This lady then gave me the two left over horses and they were called Kabutz and Shocking, and Shocking won the Melbourne Cup.
Then because Shocking had won I was given a slurpee cup that was redecorated and then had my picture taken twice. And I was also given a Wonka Bar too.
