Lisa’s Lunches

Lisa’s Lunches was founded in Ipswich in 2019 to honour Lisa Heuston. Lisa died of cancer in November 2017 at the age of 39, leaving behind a young family. Because her family had to deal with a lot of problems during her cancer journey, we started our charity to help people in our area who are going through the same thing.

Lisa’s Lunches is a community-run organisation that welcomes people of all ages to participate. At the core of our charity are the lunch packs we give to families who are in financial difficulty or just find it impossible to get to the store. We provide a number of programmes that help families who find themselves on an unexpected cancer journey.

Ww work with the local community and health agencies to respond with support to patients and their families in and around Ipswich, Queensland.
