During my week of absence from work I have been spending a lot of time in the garden. We got hold of a water tank offcut, which we thought would make a good vegie garden bed.
In this bed I planted tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions, radishes, capsicums and pumpkin, along with some yellow zinnia flowers and basil. We decided to site it near the dog runs; I thought it would help give the area a bit of a lift. H commented that Ebby would probably scare away any marauding possums.
Adjacent to Ebby’s run I decided to plant some fragrant plants and herbs. There is lavender, peppermint, pineapple sage, lemon balm and camomile.
We converted this old broken wheelbarrow to a garden bed for several varieties of lettuce and rocket (the stakes are there to help guard against Spook using it as a launch pad).
