Dog Haiku Poems:
Our terrier named
Maddie hurt her back chasing
A bearded lizard
I saw a small dog
jump out of its car and crossed
A busy street twice
My dog Deena once
Escaped a veterinary
Clinic in Lithgow
A boy tormented
A dog and his mother took
No notice of him
My mum helped rescue
A maltese terrier from
Being mauled by dogs
Handlers running
While their dogs go through and
Over the set course
Jody my brother’s
Wife said that her dog Remus
Doesn’t like wet grass
If some people know
You got dogs they blame you for
All the problem ones
Phoebe a sheltie
Made her death brother aware
That I was calling
One way that Darcy
Copes with his deathness is to
Look at my dog Ilse
My second eldest
Nephew calls Ilse Remus Girl
After his mum’s dog
Mum thought my dog Ilse
Was like watching a flying
Possum in action
As it was quiet
I then discovered that Ilse
Had pulled my quilt off
I was training my
Dog Ilse when a man next door
Was mowing the lawn
When my dog saw the
Wild ducks she went to pull
On the lead I held
Most dogs bury their
Bones in dirt but Ilse puts hers
Under the sofa
When my mother brought
Ilse back inside my flat a
Moth went in mum’s mouth
Ilse and Dita were
Rough housing on a pile
Of sand and had fun
Dita was sitting
In my green chair which my mum
Took a picture of
Mum’s two dogs Ruebens
And Dita were having fun
Playing tug a war
My mum’s dog Dita
Had fun pulling the baubles
Off the christmas tree
When I tell Dita
To do something at times she
Grovels on the ground
My mini schnauzer
Likes to talk and also chase
The kookaburras
A kookaburra
Landed on the concrete and
Ilse chased it away
Some people are use
To their dogs barking that they
Become death to them
As Phee is getting
Older she is getting death
Like her brother is
Phoebe growled at Darce
Then got up as I guess she
Knows that he is death
Phoebe got the pork
Chews by jumping on my bed
Then on the table
As I was watching
Ilse she did a handstand and
Walked on her front legs
