Little Rosie

Lately we’ve been feeling the emptiness of a house without a dog in it, so on Thursday we set about changing that and adopted Rosie from the Animal Welfare League.

She was described on the website as a German Shepherd, so we did a bit of a double take when we saw her in real life. She is a rather diminutive version, but very sweet, and she didn’t seem to object to us.

The shelter staff were very pleased to see her going to a new home. As a “golden oldie”, she is one of the more difficult dogs to rehome. She is only a few months away from turning ten, but there is still plenty of life in her yet.

She happily follows us around, explores her new surroundings, and seems to be settling in very well. We are very pleased to have her with us.
