Just had a wonderful couple of days on the road with Mum, visiting Aunty Pam and my old school friend Olga near Armidale in the New England region.
On the way home we stopped at Stanthorpe and spent some time at Girraween National Park, where we climbed the Pyramid and wandered among the incredible granite formations and wildflowers.
We also caught a dog obedience display and enjoyed some time around Stanthorpe, with its lovely homes, gardens and friendly people.
One of my favourite little memories came from the motel where we stayed. The managers let us take home some cuttings from a beautiful native hibiscus with striking white flowers.
A lovely few days of family, friendship, walking and the open road.
