Ilse my miniature schnauzer had some staining around her muzzle for sometime now and Ilse’s breeder told my mum to rub smoker’s toothpaste through it to lighten it. And mum and I find it is very effective, also the stain comes from drinking water. And I also noticed that another breeder recommended putting copper in the water to get rid of staining around the muzzle. But I also heard that copper can be toxic depending on the quantity, and so I’m rather pleased that there is a safer alternative.

On Saturday the fourteenth of March Ipswich Dog Obedience Club held a night time obedience trial. And my miniature schnauzer named Ilse or Ilsa was entered and gained her CCD title with 93 points out of 100. And as another competitor also got that score Ilse got third place on a countback as the competitor who got 2nd recieved one point more for the heeling.

Ilse got 25 out of 30 for heeling, 10 out of 10 for stand for exam, and 18 out of 20 for her recall. And as there was over twenty competitors that was entered in the CCD ring, we then had to do the sit and down stays in three groups. And Ilse got full marks for those two exercises.

Thanks mum for handling Ilse for me. And my mother also had her Irish Terrier Ruebens in his first open trial and they gained a passing score in the 180’s. I also noticed at the presentation that there was quite a few people that gained their title with their dog that night too.

The Inkheart Trilogy is three books in one and its author is Cornelia Funke. And the title of the three books are Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath and my edition was published in Great Britain in 2008 by Chicken House also the book’s ISBN is 978 1 905294 96 1.

This story is about a father and daughter who love one another. And it is also a story about people who love reading and Mo and his daughter Meggie love reading books but Mo has a secret. As apparently he can get characters to come out of their books by simply reading out loud.

Also when Meggie finds out why her father doesn’t read out loud to her anymore, she tells her father that she wished that she had this ability too. Meggie then later finds out that she does have this ability, and is forced by Capricorn who came out of a story called Inkheart to read a certain page from the Inkheart story. But the story’s author Fenoglio has a plan and instead of reading from the book Meggie reads from a page that he had recently wrote and so they change what originally happened in the story.

Meggie also finds her mother. But after Meggie went through with Fenoglio’s plan Fenoglio disappears into the pages of the Inkheart story.

This is the second movie that Liss and I saw while we were holidaying in Bundaberg. And the movie was about vampires and werewolves. It was also a love story as a captured werewolf falls in love with the vampire king’s daughter.

Also some of the captured werewolves that are turned into slaves then escape, and they form an alliance with the werewolves that are running free. And when the vampire king finds out that his daughter is in love with a werewolf he locks her up in her room. The werewolf that she is in love with then finds out about this and he goes back to get her out of her perdictament only to be captured again himself. The vampire king then puts his daughter on trial. And we discover that she was pregnant and even though her father killed the baby that she was carrying her father blamed his daughter for losing it. The king’s daughter is then killed but her lover kills her father in revenge.

When Liss and I went to Bundaberg our parents minded my miniature schnauzer named Ilse or Ilsa for me. And mum went to Ilsa’s toy box and got a few toys out, so that my dog could entertain herself. She spent the days either inside my room or outside as the door was open. And dad or mum came in to see her now and then. Ilse then spent the nights on the veranda with mum’s two dogs. 

But since I have come back I noticed when I go up to have dinner with my parents that Ilse gets a toy in her mouth and shakes her head and acts tuff. I guess it is a good idea to keep some toys around. But as I like to throw a tennis ball for Ilse I don’t leave it out.

When my sister Liss and I were holidaying in Bundaberg we went to a Reading Cinema and saw two movies. One was a vampire and werewolf movie that I have to look up the name of. And the other movie we saw was Ghost Town. And this movie was about a dentist who doesn’t have much time for people. As he thinks of himself too much.

He also dies twice in the movie. As the first time he went to a hospital to have an operation. And after he was allowed to go home he leaves the hospital and sees a nurse that was standing at the entrance. He then says something to this nurse and she asks “are you talking to me?” And then afterwards all these ghosts start appearing and as they notice that he can see them they follow him.

Later on he then discovers that he isn’t well liked. But he doesn’t waste too much time feeling sorry for himself as he then decides to listen to the ghosts to find out what they want him to do.

And because he had given time to help all the ghosts in the town which allowed the ghosts to leave earth when this dentists dies the second time he is incredibly given back his life. And that’s after he had stopped breathing for seven minutes. And I say that was incredible as a few years ago I found out if a person hasn’t breathe for two minutes then they won’t start breathing by themselves again.

While my sister Liss and I were away on our holiday at Bundaberg we did a lot of things. As we rented a Avis car so that we could drive to places ourselves. This is because we arrived in Bundaberg on a Tilt train and as I also been on a plane a few times I noticed some changes in train travel. Or at least some of the trains that people can travel on are different. 

And the first thing that I noticed when I sat down in a seat in car c was that there were televisions all the way down and up the aisle. As they used this to entertain the passengers and to communicate with them. Also another thing that the Tilt train had that was similar to planes was music and ear phones that people could plug in if they wanted to listen to music or whatever they had on the TVs. And when we got to our destination Liss and I stayed at Lime Cottage. And as well as going out and seeing places we took some photos, watched movies, played scrabble, listened to music, and also read. Liss and I also went on the Bundy Belle for a boat trip on the Burnett River which we both enjoyed.

And while I was in Bundaberg I started reading the Inkheart Trilogy by Cornelia Funke. And I’m still reading it. And it is three books in one and I finished Inkheart and now am reading Inkspell. I’m also on page 500 at the moment. And I’m really enjoying the story and think it will be a book that I’ll read again and again. I also discovered today that the Inkheart movie is scheduled to be released in Australia in April. And I also found an interview that Cornelia Funke did. And the website address is:
