Smoker’s Toothpaste
March 16th, 2009 @ 7:40 am

Ilse my miniature schnauzer had some staining around her muzzle for sometime now and Ilse’s breeder told my mum to rub smoker’s toothpaste through it to lighten it. And mum and I find it is very effective, also the stain comes from drinking water. And I also noticed that another breeder recommended putting copper in the water to get rid of staining around the muzzle. But I also heard that copper can be toxic depending on the quantity, and so I’m rather pleased that there is a safer alternative.

Saw the heading of this one and thought you’d taken up smoking Jo! just kidding. Glad to hear Ilse’s choppers can be safely made to sparkle.

    Hi

There’s also another way to keep bearded dogs beards clean, and that’s by filtering their drinking water.
