This morning Ilse my Mini Schnauzer thought she’ll have a bit of fun by carrying one of my shoes, and when I realised that she had one of my shoes I just said “fetch shoe” and she brought it to me straight away. She also likes dragging my pillow off my bed and I just say to her “fetch pillow” and she brings that to me too. And also by identifying the object you want to a dog it helps them to learn to discriminate between objects which can be very useful.
