Overseas Trip For NolaNovember 29th, 2008 @ 7:49 am
As Nola the hairdresser was cutting my hair mum and I discovered that she is spending three weeks touring Germany as she sings in a choir. She told mum and me that they will be singing one day then have the next day off then they sing again the next day and have the next day off. So the choir will have plenty of time for sightseeing as well as singing. Nola also told us that one of the places they will be going to is Munich and they’ll be returning home on Boxing Day. I also got Nola to give me a new hairstyle yesterday.

When mum and I left after getting our haircuts, I said bye to Nola but what I actually said is Norma and then corrected myself. And when I was talking to mum about it I said I was trying to say Nola and Norma came out. Then I told mum the names must use the same facial muscles. Mum then replied that people often call Nola Norma and we also know a couple of Normas.

Dad went to another church yesterday, this time to listen to someone playing the organ. He said that the organ sounded great. Nola was at the church too, and when she saw dad she then went up and introduced herself and said “you must be John.”
