This book is a continuation of The Spiderwick Chronicles and is called “Beyond The Spiderwick Chronicles.” And the book is published by Simon and Schuster Books For Young Readers. Also its ISBN is -13: 978-0-689-87131-3 and ISBN-10: 0-689-87131-7.
This isn’t another Grace children adventure, although Jared Grace does make an appearance and helps the Varcas children with a problem with a fire breathing giant. This is a book about changes too as Nick Varcas had to give up his room to his step sister, and his dad and step mother also expects Nick to show Laurie around and being nice to her, while his surf loving older brother is free to do what he likes. Like talking on the phone to his girlfriend and playing video games. But this is a book about Fairies, and Nick had to stay with Laurie so that she wouldn’t get lost while she went hunting for fairies. And while she is doing this she tells Nick what he should look for and one of the things she told him to look for was a four leaf clover. And he found a four leaf clover but at that time he doesn’t know what it does. Then as he discovers that his step sister is headstrong he returns back to his house and then shortly after he looks out of the window and sees a body lying on the ground.
And as he tells Laurie about it, who is angry with him Nick then discovers as Laurie finding out about the four leaf clover he found then tells him that the body is a nixie which is a type of fairie.
Also the reason why she can see it is because she now has the four leaf clover. And he can see this being as he had the four leaf clover. The nixie they found is named Taloa, and she gave Laurie and Nick “The Sight” because they returned her to the water and she wants them to find her sisters.
