Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on my seat outside my room when I saw a white bird. And as it turned around in the air it screeched a few times then headed back in the direction it came. I could also identify this bird as a sulfur crested cockatoo, and you don’t see many of them in the wild.

But then after I had tea with my parents I let Ilse out for a run in the backyard, and this time I saw not just one sulfur crested cockatoo but four to six of them and discovered that they must be nesting in the trees next door.
