Master of the Books is the sequel to The Book of Lies that James Moloney wrote. And it was first published in Australia in 2007 by Angus & Robertson which is an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers. And the book’s ISBN is 13: 978 0 207 20083 0 and the other ISBN is 10: 0 207 20083 1. Master of the Books also starts off by telling us about a man and a woman who wanted to get married but because they wanted to know what future they had they went to a farseer as he had a reputation for seeing into people’s future. But their future together wasn’t a good one. And the farseer sends the man away to get some water from the stream so that he could talk to the woman alone. He then tells her that she is carrying the man’s child but the child will try to kill his father and he tells his servant to take this lady away so that she could go in hiding from this man. As she was told that the man will kill the child. Meanwhile Fergus is on a farm and this was because he tried to steal from the husband and wife that lived there.

He then finds out why they are very protective about their daughter, as the lady’s husband had all ways treated Fergus well despite that he attempted to steal from them.

And from their talk Fergus finds out that this man had a son who was taken by a witch to feed her giant that he was told was her husband. So Fergus goes off to kill the witch only to find out that she had a story to tell too. But Fergus is determined as ever to kill the man called Damon as he felt humilated by him. Though he doesn’t know what Marcel has done, and Marcel didn’t realize either until he did it. And because Marcel has unravelled the truth about their birth he guesses what Fergus is attempting to do and is just as determined to find a way to stop Fergus from doing what he had set out to do.
