For the past three weeks on a Tuesday, I’ve been going to a place in Laidley called Luke’s place. As this is somewhere where people with disabilities can go. And at the moment I’m enjoying it as when we get there, there are three activities to do like yesterday’s activities were walking around the block, scrapbooking and cultural activities. However as it was chilly yesterday morning, no one much felt like walking around the block though I was quite prepared to walk up the street and back.
But then the four supervisers decided to get us all doing chair exercises instead which I found enjoyable and easy to do. Also when I told mum that they opted to do the chair exercises instead of the walking she laughed but agreed that it was cold. Then after that we did scrapbooking which is like journalling as what I found out is that we think up memories and tell the story or stories by using photos, drawings or tell the story through writing. Then sometime after lunch we were then given an interesting talk on a country.

Hi Liss, the country that one of the supervisers talked about was an African country called Tanzania. And yes I think I’ll enjoy scrapbooking too.
