Concert in Laidley
April 29th, 2007 @ 7:38 am

Last night Liss and I went to Laidley Cultural Centre, as a concert was held there; the multiple performers then played a mixture of songs, and some of the songs they sung people knew (as there was a lady sitting behind me humming away to The Rose) and they also performed some of their own songs. It was quite entertaining, though I mistakenly thought that it was Kirsti Falconer’s concert and I thought the first performer was on stage singing his songs as some kind of support act, but then more and more came on; then after we left and were driving home I told Liss that the concert was a bit of a surprise as I wasn’t expecting all those performers: but then Liss told me she knew it was going to be multiple performers performing. I quite liked it though, and the last two performers that performed we had seen before, as they gave a public performance when they had a Australia Day celebration in Laidley last year.

I think that they maybe a husband, and wife team and the wife plays the keyboard and sings, (she also likes to get her audiences clapping along,) and her husband is a poet, and while he was reading some of his poems out loud (which incedently, was what made me remember them), he was making the people in the audience laugh.
