Toowoomba Art Gallery

The supervisors at Luke’s Place are going to take us to Toowoomba Art Gallery. I wonder if there will be better exhibitions of Art than they had at the Ipswich Art Gallery? And then after we’ve been there we are going to have lunch in a park.

    There was much better labelling of the artwork that was exhibited at the Toowoomba Art Gallery compared to the labelling that was done at Ipswich Art Gallery. As I noticed at Ipswich they labelled the dog figurines either as a pug or an alsation and most of them weren’t pugs or alsations.

    Also at the Toowoomba Art Gallery there was a watercolour collection of paintings done by Lionel Lindsay and he is Norman Lindsay’s brother. I also thought that Lionel’s artwork was done in a different style. Then after we looked at the artwork we then had lunch at picnic point.
