Patience
Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them – every day begin the task anew. – Saint Francis de Sales

Back on the meds
I can’t recall how long it has been since I stopped taking anti depressants, perhaps two years or more. In that time I’ve had plenty of low moods and minor episodes of depression but have been able to manage and pull myself out, using techniques shown to me by Carrie, the psychologist I saw last year. Last week though, I had a real set back and ended up having nearly the whole week off work. My life seemed to reach a new low.
I decided to go back onto anti depressants, for the short term. Perhaps a few months. My GP put me onto a different drug, it wasn’t around a couple of years ago, called Pristiq. Today is day 4 and I feel a lot better, some of the motivation and positivity is back.

Need something else
..in this spot on my blog. My head has been immersed in Hunger Games – first the movie last weekend, then the books on my Kindle.
It’s the Easter long weekend, doing some gardening and getting the camera out tomorrow

My Thoughts Exactly
An article written by King’s College London’s Jack McDonald accuses Invisible Children of trying to “crowdsource military intervention”.
“Joseph Kony deserves to be put in cuffs and dragged before the ICC. Raising the profile of the heinous nature of the guy’s crimes is awesome. The idea that popular opinion can be leveraged with viral marketing to induce foreign military intervention is really, really dangerous. It is immoral to try and sell a sanitised vision of foreign intervention that neglects the fact that people will die as a result,” he writes.
