The latest recipient of a Cert IV Human Resources – finally completed my course after 18 months of hard slog and procrastination. I was so happy when my trainer accepted my final assignments that I danced on the spot, hugged the trainer, and rang to tell H. to put on his best clobber for a night out to celebrate.
I can’t explain it but ever since Christmas things have been different. I’ve felt a sense of acceptance, of rolling with the punches and navigating the ups and downs in life. It would be very easy to think “well, how long is this going to last?” but I think I’ll just accept it and enjoy the ride.
Spent a fun morning at the mini-golf and Queens Park with three nephews and their Nan.
Six month old Billie is staying over Xmas
Saw my brother today for the first time in 12 months and was bit shocked to see he’s got old. Guess he probably had same reaction to seeing me.
Didn’t seem real happy. Maybe tired from work, or kids, or both. Hope he’s ok.
He did seem pleased with his newest little daughter though, she was out with her mum, but he showed me some of her cute pictures. Happy little kid.
